If you need peace and quiet and nature (but not to be miles from anywhere) this little finca is for you.
This is a one bedroom house on a large piece of land on the edge of the National Park. The house is off-grid and has a generator and solar panels for the electric. It also has it’s own water supply (which usually needs to be topped up with a tanker of water in August and September). It has easy access from the main road and is just a couple of minutes away from Jimena.
This is not a house for people that expect non-stop electric or water without some careful management. You need to be handy, and preferably speak some Spanish so you can communicate with the owners.
The living room and kitchen is open plan with a gas cooker and oven. There is a bathroom with shower – again hot water is supplied by a gas water heater.
Above the living space is a good sized open attic space which can be used for guest sleeping quarters. The main bedroom is not very big but has a double bed.
Internet would have to be from GPS creating a hot spot on your phone.
If you have a horse there is a stables and paddock which is currently used, but there may be room for another. There is also a huge field of land (5,715m2) going down to the river on which you could plant vegetables etc. The use of the stables and additional land would be extra.
The rent is 330 euros/month. The house is for sale so there would be a three month notice clause in the agreement in the case the property was sold.
